I enjoy working with clients who are ready to take a deep dive into healing. Maybe you have been at this for a long time and feel stuck. Or you do not have time to return to long-term weekly therapy. We can work together to create a short term intensive experience, what I call a “container” for deep healing.
The intensive approach can provide rapid healing and an opportunity to get “unstuck” by switching out of the traditional model of weekly 55 minute sessions. This allows us to co-create a structure that works for you based on your goals, your timeframe, and your best structure for healing. Intensive experiences are ideal for any client who wishes to move away from the weekly therapy model; is seeking EMDR as an augmentation to therapy with another therapist; or a client who is traveling into town to receive EMDR therapy. They can also be a life changing option for long-term therapy clients ready to make significant gains and changes in a short period of time. In my approach I use EMDR, IFS, somatic work, and mindfulness to tap into resources and clear hurts, losses, and negative beliefs. I go beyond talk therapy to release stuck beliefs and emotions and allow for integration and a return to wholeness. I am informed by early attachment, emotional regulation patterns, and the belief that with the right healing conditions we can all move to a healthier and more adaptive state. NEW! I now offer Pain Reprocessing Therapy for management and treatment of chronic pain and chronic conditions. PRT is a evidenced-based approach that focuses on changing our relationship to pain and other uncomfortable physical experiences by reducing overall fear in our system. Combined with EMDR, parts work and somatic work even those with long-term symptoms can experience relief and a return to an active lifestyle.
